Our Vision
माता भूमिः पुत्रो अहं पृथिव्याः ।
- Atharva Veda (12.1.12)
“The Earth is my Mother; I am a child of the Earth.”
"We seek to plant seeds of curiosity in children by offering an experiential space for exploring unique Indic ideas . We aspire for this ancient heritage to become a living wisdom that young seekers can carry forward with pride."
Our Approach
We hold immense faith in Nature’s Wisdom—the profound intelligence that sustains life through harmony and interconnectedness. We believe that true education emerges from being in Nature and learning directly from her rhythms. The Indic tradition is deeply rooted in this reverence for Prakriti, viewing the outer world and inner self as one seamless whole.
A Path to Fulfillment
Education’s purpose is revealed in a timeless progression:
विद्या ददाति विनयं विनयाद् याति पात्रताम् । पात्रत्वाद् धनमाप्नोति धनाद् धर्मं ततः सुखम् ॥
"Knowledge bestows humility; from humility comes worthiness. Worthiness grants the capacity to pursue prosperity, which, when guided by Dharma, leads to lasting happiness."
The Four Quarters of Learning
Indic education is "Education for Life"—a patient, lifelong process that embraces the diversity of human nature. This growth is a collaborative journey:
आचार्यात् पादमादत्ते पादं शिष्यः स्वमेधया । सब्रह्मचारिभ्यः पादं पादं कालक्रमेण च ॥
"A student receives one quarter of knowledge from the teacher, one quarter through self-study, one quarter from peers, and the final quarter through the ripening of time and experience."
Knowledge as a Living Transmission
True wisdom is not acquired as static data; it is a living transmission triggered by inquiry:
तद्विद्धि प्रणिपातेन परिप्रश्नेन सेवया... (Gita 4.34)
"Seek this knowledge through humility, sincere inquiry, and service. The wise, who have seen the Truth, will impart this light to those who approach with a seeking heart."
Bridging Two Worlds
Modern education often limits itself to "Education for Living"—a cycle of exams and jobs that cultivates 'knowers' rather than 'experiencers.' Drawing on over 25 years of experience from Prakriya Green Wisdom School, we are planning to create a transformative centre for Indic Heritage near the Bhoomi Campus in Bengaluru.
We seek to invite children to become active explorers within immersive zones with hands-on challenges, storytelling and thoughtful dialogue, we propose to bridge timeless Indic ideas with contemporary requirements. We don't have all the answers; but , we awaken questions.
Through play and reflection, children feel the wisdom, debate its relevance, and form their own perspectives—reigniting “Education for Life” as a living bridge between ancient mastery and a harmonious future.
